You can support the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary in a variety of ways. Regardless of your form of support, please know of our tremendous gratitude for your generosity. Also know that we pray in a special way for our many supporters!
Cash Gifts
A cash gift may take the form of a one-time donation, or you may elect to spread your gift out over an extended period of time. If you itemize deductions on your federal tax return, you may be able to deduct the amount of a cash donation from your adjustable gross income. Please consult your tax advisor for deduction requirements and limitations relating to your specific situation.
Making your gift over an extended payment period may enable you to make a more substantial contribution and tailor your specific giving plan to your needs. Generally, gifts may be spread out up to a five year payment period. Cash payments pursuant to such pledges may be deductible from your adjustable gross income in the year in which they are made. Please consult your tax advisor for deduction requirements and limitations relating to your specific situation.

Securities
When you donate stocks, bonds, or other securities, you may qualify for an income tax deduction based on the value of the securities at the time you make the gift, and you may also avoid long-term capital gains tax on the appreciated value of the securities. Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA)
A Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA) may allow you to make a gift of cash, marketable securities or other assets, and earn a fixed payment for life, as well as a current income tax deduction. Remembering the Sisters in Your Will and Other Planned Giving
In addition to the Charitable Gift Annuity, there are a number of ways to make a planned - or “legacy” - gift to the Sisters, including donating through your Will, Estate Plan or Life Insurance policy; donating Real Estate or Closely Held Stock; or through one of the many other types of Annuity Contracts. Please consult your financial advisor when considering any form of planned gift.

Matching Gifts
Many corporations and businesses will match the charitable contributions made by their employees to a non-profit organization. Check with your employer to see if they offer a matching gift program. If they do, request a matching gift form from them, and send it completed and signed with your gift to the “Donate by Mail” address above.
